After my 2-week trip got extended by a 6-week quarantine, I am finally home! I was able to take one of the last flights out of Peru! The journey home was one I will never forget – a bus ride to a Peruvian air force base surrounded by police cars and military helicopters, a jam-packed flight to Miami, and a total of 25 hours door to door.
I am happy to be home and I have finished my self quarantine. It has been a blessing to be able to rest and decompress more and more each day.
I have appreciated your support and your continued support and prayers as I have transitioned back home. I can’t tell you how many calls and text messages I have received from you all checking in on me and ensuring I made it home safely. We truly have so much to be thankful for.
